Glory to Jesus Christ!
In the town of Zolochiv, Lviv region, Ukraine with the help of people of good will all over the world the wooden church in the Ukrainian tradition was built almost in a year. It is situated in the housing block of 1000 faithful with 500 children. The years of work in the parish discovered that there are many people with a lot of social and health problems who need a real help from the parish. Unfortunately there are some children with Down syndrome who had never left their houses. So necessity of the construction of parish house to help elderly people and disabled appeared.
The parish house will be built near the church. On the ground floor there will be the kitchen and the dining-room for one hundred persons, where we will be able to feed those who are helpless to prepare the meals for themselves and also the store rooms and the rooms to collect the humanitarian help. On the first floor we are going to situate the conference hall to work with children, young families and also it will be used for church choir lessons, for demonstration the films on the spiritual themes. Besides there will be some rooms for psychologist, lawyer, doctor and priest, computer room and the classrooms for the children’s circles.
We appeal to You and to Your good will for the help from the name of those who will never appeal to the authorities or to You because of their weakness. We ask you for a help to the people and children who will never thank you but they can give you the chance to earn your treasures in the Heavens in the name of God.

Plan of the spiritual center
At present time our parish counts 1000 family numbers but it is developing very quickly. Every day the Holy mess is served, on Sundays two messes are served and three Sunday messes are planned to be provided. During two Sunday messes the church is full of people. The most enjoyable for us the great number of youth in our church. The messes are co-served with two choirs – children’s and grown-up’s. We have free access into all the school, lyceum and college. We are allowed to work at the hospitals and military devices. In the parish we have the Bible school led by the priest, catechism school where both the priest and the catechist teach and Mariolatry children’s group under the leadership of the catechist. Parish organizes the pilgrimage to the Holy places and the summer camp in the Carpathian Mountains where children are taught the Bible.
Unfortunately new built church does not have its own catechism center to provide the spiritual work. This house would consolidate people of different social status and ages and would attract much more young people. The house would help to realize these plans. We have already collect a certain sum of money and building materials but it is not enough to make our dreams true. In this house we plan to teach children catechism, organize the charity center to help the least protective people (disables, ill and old people, children from poor families, and especially children with celebrate paralysis). In this house we would like to have priest’s room, some classrooms for catechism, conference hall, library, video-hall and some living-rooms for pilgrims from Ukraine and abroad. So we could provide pilgrims and just married couples with the rooms during the catechism.
Realization of this project will prompt the developing of the catholic church on the territory of Ukraine.
